E-mobility, lightweight construction and modern surface technologies are important themes for the future of composites

JEC World 2019, the world’s largest meeting of the composites industry will take place at the Villepinte Exhibition Center in Paris from 12 to 14 March 2019. As one of the leading specialists in adhesives solutions, tooling, lightweight construction materials and surface technologies, Bodo Möller Chemie Group will once again be there with its own exhibition stand. The global company not only has in-depth applications know-how but is a complete provider for leading manufacturers such as Huntsman, DowDuPont, Sigmatex, HB Fuller and Henkel. The speciality chemicals company will be unveiling its in-house Adhesive Competence Center at the exhibition. This Center consolidates the company’s entire know-how in adhesives applications in the automotive, railway and aerospace industries and, as well as calculating and testing adhesive bonds in its own laboratory, it also offers EN 6701-2 and DIN 2304 certification and advanced training and seminars for users of adhesives.

Adhesive Competence Center
A major feature of the Adhesive Competence Center is its own test laboratory, which combines specialist knowledge about the industrial use of adhesives and polymer resins with more than 15 testing techniques and standards from the various fields of application. The laboratory carries EN 6701-2 (Adhesive bonding for railway industries), DIN 2304 (Quality requirements for adhesive bonding processes) and ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management) certifications. "We recognise that the industry had a huge need for a common point of contact for procurement, applications and project calculation of industrial adhesives. Bodo Möller Chemie Group's Adhesive Competence Center therefore covers all aspects of the processing and application of specialised adhesives solutions," explains Frank Haug, CEO of Bodo Möller Chemie. These services provide important support in the application, processing and calculation of new materials. Composite materials are not only attractive options in terms of lightweight construction, sustainability and future-proofing but cost efficiency as well.
