Metal deactivators

Metal deactivators are a special form of corrosion inhibitors, which form a passivating protective film in particular on non-ferrous metals. The effect is based on the formation of films on the surfaces. By creating a passivating protective film the activators prevent both the crossing of catalytically working copper ions in the oil and the oxidative attack of the copper surface by oxygen and/or oil ageing products. The products are water-solubly, oil-solubly as well as liquid and rigid available.
