Reinforcing materials

Consisting of glass-fibre matting, polymer adhesive layer and separation-paper, these reinforcements can be applied quickly and without difficulty to metal plate and durable plastics. The principle applications are typically to be found in automobile construction and lead to an improvement in bend-resistance, anti-torsion rigidity, impact-resistance and resistance to repeated flexion. A partial reinforcement  offers cost advantages over steel reinforcement components.
