Crosslinking Agent

The cross-linking of polymers by the addition of silanes has been practiced for many years and plays a role especially when acrylates, polyethers, silicones, polyesters and polyurethanes are used. The process of cross-linking is initiated by moisture, wherein the crosslinking rate, among other things can also be influenced by the number and type of alkoxy groups and the organofunctional groups. It can be achieved by the addition of silanes improved physical properties such as tensile strength and elongation abrasion resistance. Frequently different amino silanes for crosslinking can be used, but also Deolink vinyl TM-100 applies here.
