History

1974

The start of the success story of Bodo Möller Chemie in Offenbach am Main. Since then we have grown in many regards: from a packer to a customer consultant, from a sales service provider to an extensive service provider and from a local to a global enterprise.


1971

Bodo Möller founded the Transbest GmbH & Co. KG international forwarding company in Offenbach am Main.


1974

Bodo Möller Chemie is founded by Bodo Möller himself. The business field was packaging of additives of Ciba-Geigy AG for small and medium-sized customers.


1992

Bodo Möller Chemie buys the business with the products of Ciba Performance Polymers, the now Huntsman Advanced Materials, from AGS-Chemie, Obertshausen.


2001

Bodo Möller Chemie concludes a contract with Dow Automotive and from now sells their adhesive products for various European countries and thus rounds off its portfolio in the adhesives and sealants area.


2002

The company portrayal, corporate identity and corporate design are standardised, Bodo Möller Chemie and Transbest Offenbach are certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2000.


2004

Subsidiaries are founded in Austria and France.


2005

Foundation of a subsidiary in Poland.


2006

Move to the new office building at Senefelderstraße 176 in Offenbach am Main.


2007

Bodo Möller Chemie becomes a member of the German Chemical Trade Association, actively participates in the Responsible Care Programme and fulfils all the requirements of the ESAD assessment. In the same year, certification according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2007 is acquired for the first time.


2008

Foundation of the subsidiaries in Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Benelux and Switzerland.


2010

Bodo Möller Chemie is certified according to OHSAS 18001 and is given re-certification for the ESAD assessment.


2011

Foundation of further subsidiaries in South Africa and the Slovak Republic.
